A Team To Depend On
Join the book two ways: upload your credit application and other documents, or fill the form on this page. Terms are listed in full above either path. Default terms are Net 15. Net 30 only with written approval. First loads can still move cash or prepaid.
You are booking with HarborLine Project Group LLC. We quote it, book it, and run it. We shop the market and put the truck on it that makes sense for your freight and your money.
Terms. Listed. No excuses.
Every shipper who wants a line files with HarborLine Project Group LLC. HarborLine Project Group quotes it, books it, and runs it. We shop the market and put the truck on it that makes sense for your freight and your money. Payment, claims, and venue are listed below — in full — before a name goes on the line.
These terms bind you
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT LEGAL DOCUMENT. Your account is with HarborLine Project Group LLC. By filing this credit application, using these services, or tendering freight, Customer agrees to be bound by every term listed here. No oral side deal. No “I didn’t see it.”
HarborLine is a broker, not a carrier
HarborLine Project Group LLC is a freight broker. It does not hold, handle, store, take possession of, or transport freight. Customer acknowledges HarborLine Project Group LLC is NOT a motor carrier. HarborLine Project Group LLC selects and tenders loads to motor carriers, rail, ocean, and air providers it deems fit for the shipment. The Carrier that takes the freight is exclusively responsible for transportation and delivery. Under no circumstances shall HarborLine Project Group LLC be shown on the bill of lading as the Carrier.
You pay for what actually moved
Customer is responsible for accurate weights, sizes, dimensions, freight class, and NMFC. Rates are quoted dock-to-dock, business-to-business unless accessorials are arranged. Customer AGREES TO PAY FOR ALL SERVICES AS ACTUALLY PROVIDED. If the actual commodity, weight, cube, class, or services differ from the BOL, additional charges hit the account. Residential, liftgate, detention, permits, tarping, and similar items are extra unless booked as accessorials.
Payment — default Net 15
Default terms are Net 15. All amounts due are payable in full — not in installments — to HarborLine Project Group LLC as stated on the invoice, within fifteen (15) days of invoice date, without deduction or setoff. Net 30 is available only with written approval from HarborLine Project Group LLC before the first load on those terms. Unless Net 30 is approved in writing, the account stays Net 15. Invoice disputes must be in writing, stating the nature of the dispute, within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. If HarborLine Project Group LLC does not receive timely written notice, the charges are conclusively presumed valid.
Late, reprocess, collections
If payment is not received within agreed terms: (a) a one-time reprocessing charge of $50 is applied, and (b) late fees are 10% of the total amount past due. Funds apply to the oldest outstanding invoice. If the account is turned over to an attorney for collection, Customer shall pay reasonable attorney’s fees plus all court costs and attendant collection costs. Late payments are also subject to finance charges up to the maximum allowed by law.
You do not withhold for carrier fights
Because HarborLine Project Group LLC is not the actual carrier, Customer will not withhold payment or deny liability for payment to HarborLine Project Group LLC over disputes with the Carrier. Filing a cargo claim does not relieve Customer of freight charges. Customer’s account must be paid in full before HarborLine Project Group LLC will assist with a claim against the Carrier.
Re-rate and extra services
HarborLine Project Group LLC may amend charges and re-invoice if (i) the quote was based on incorrect information from Customer, (ii) additional carrier services were reasonably required, or (iii) Customer authorized pickup, transport, delivery, or other work beyond the BOL. Truckload detention is typically $75 per hour, up to $600 per day, after two hours free at pickup and delivery. Truckload cancelled less than four hours before scheduled pickup is typically $350 or 20%, whichever is greater.
BOL, quotes, and who is on the paper
Customer provides the BOL to the Carrier as directed at booking. HarborLine Project Group LLC has no obligation to pay, process claims, or honor quotes if the BOL is altered, freight is given to a carrier other than the one dispatched, or an unauthorized BOL is used. HarborLine Project Group LLC may refuse any shipment at any time and may change the dispatched carrier when capacity, safety, or service requires it to meet your needs.
Cargo claims — look to the carrier
HarborLine Project Group LLC is a broker and shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to Customer for loss or damage to goods. Liability, if any, is the Carrier’s. HarborLine Project Group LLC does not insure or indemnify Customer. Carrier cargo liability for any one shipment shall not exceed $100,000 unless extra coverage is purchased before pickup, at Customer’s expense. Inspect at delivery. Note damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Claims assistance, if requested, must be filed in writing with HarborLine Project Group LLC within 48 hours of delivery. HarborLine Project Group LLC is not responsible for the outcome of claims.
No guaranteed clock unless you buy it
Unless Guaranteed Service is a charged accessorial, transit times are estimates only. Neither HarborLine Project Group LLC nor the Carrier is liable for delays from weather, government, accidents, labor, or other causes beyond control. In no event is HarborLine Project Group LLC liable for lost profits, lost opportunity, or special, consequential, or incidental damages. HarborLine Project Group LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and cannot guarantee delivery by any specific time or date.
Liability cap
As a material term, any alleged HarborLine Project Group LLC liability is limited to the fees HarborLine Project Group LLC earned on that shipment. Breach of warranty or covenant is limited to total compensation paid by Customer for HarborLine Project Group LLC’s services. Customer must verify the pickup driver’s identity and equipment against the dispatch so freight is not tendered to an imposter.
Indemnity
If any legal action or claim is made against HarborLine Project Group LLC, or any fines or penalties are assessed against HarborLine Project Group LLC, arising out of any act, omission, or negligence of Customer, Customer agrees to indemnify and defend HarborLine Project Group LLC against any and all such claims, demands, losses, costs, obligations, fines, penalties, and liabilities.
Florida law. No venue fight.
This purchase agreement is governed by Florida law (except where federal law pre-empts). Customer consents that HarborLine Project Group LLC may sue to enforce this agreement or collect a debt in the state courts of Florida or in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Customer waives any objection to venue or personal jurisdiction. If HarborLine Project Group LLC is the prevailing party, it recovers reasonable attorney fees and expenses from Customer.
